  Medium straw yellow, gold tints. Overdose of none too elegant new oak on the nose, some underlying tropical fruit. Good intensity on the palate, but same dominating new oak hiding tropical fruit. Palate and finish saved (to an extent) by decent, refreshing acidity, but overall no more than average.
