Given its price point, it is probably blatantly unfair to make comparisons with the Alsace, which I regard as the quintessence of this varietal. Some pleasant floral notes on the nose, but a bit simple on the palate, just the faintest suggestion of the spice and snap you might be hoping for. Pleasant drinker but not one I would seek out again.

Slight floral notes on the nose. The right sweetness (for me) for pairing with spicy Thai or Chinese food - just a little viscous without becoming cloying.

Too sweet, not so aromatic as german or austrian traminers.
