2016 CdP (and some other wines over dinner) (NY Racquet and Tennis Club): Not a CdP producer that I was familiar with, but I did find this quite enjoyable. It's an interesting wine - one of those ones that has a few different flavors going Like a spice cabinet. Nicely restrained. Well made. I would def love to try again - ideally with even more age.

Old school all the way. Low and seamless alcohol for the vintage. Bright red cherry fruit, herbal, some stemmy thing going on as well. No sense of oak. I feel like cdp like this are a dying breed. I like them quite a bit, but they don't have the jammy hedonistic thing and these need to be contemplated a bit more. Very true to old styled cdp.

Truffle & Chateauneuf du Pape hunting in Provence; 11/7/2013-11/10/2013 (Crillon Le Brave): Small cuvée here, like 10k bottles utilising most of the 13 allowable CdP grapes, including the whites. Dark des se colour. Young wine yet approachable and not austere. Light caramel note on the nose along with good ripe fruit. Quite a bit of tannin especially compared to the 2011 we tried with it . good solid wine, well made but lacks a bit of complexity and also a bit vintage agnostic to be honest. 90 and wait a few years .

My second bottle. Dinner with a French Winemaker. lot of red fruits aromas. Medium to full body wine. Soft tannins and nice acidity. We love this wine.

Nose of blackberry, leather, bit of cherry. A great wine, very complex but well balance. Excellent!!
