  • This is a fine and dandy 10 year-old Coonawarra cab sav. Its ageing years have mellowed the fruit but it holds up quite nicely. Tannins are flat, there oak and some chocolate, give a long and satisfying finish. This is nice.

  • Great to see this wine again it has licorace /dark plum on the nose with a rich fruit driven palate slightly earthly the oak sits underneath and lifts that powerful ripe fruit the tannins are inter grated and has long firm finish great combo of Shiraz and cab bbq scotch fillet with mashed potatoes onion rings and mushrooms and a corn on the cob..very happy!,,

  • Drinking really well. Pitch perfect balance of acid and fruit. Cabernet and Shiraz in harmony here. Cabernet lends red berries and excellent tannin and the Shiraz gives it a plummy overtone. Lovely drinking. Doesn't require contemplation. Will drink well for another 5 years.
