Certified Port Educator (CPE) Course; 4/18/2022-4/24/2022 (Porto, Portugal): Yellow-brown in color with slight green edging. Nose of caramel, honey, and a little Christmas spice. Rich mouthfeel with salted caramel and woody notes giving way to some noticeable tannins and mouth-coating texture on the mid-palate. Very long finish with great balanced acidity. This used to present with a lot more heat/alcohol but it seems like those are resolving nicely in the wine.

Q3 - 2018 Tasting - Whites - “ABC” Anything but Chardonnay (New York, NY): 16/18 white wines tasted double blind. Color is quite light. On the palate initially a bit of heat, but then it grows more complex with notes of fruit and vanilla, some sweetness and balancing acidity. First time trying a white port and it is definitely interesting.

Anything But (still) Chardonnay - ABC wines | Q3 Wine Club (The Apt): Wine #16: Interesting. Have had white port style wine before, but never from Porto. This was quite nice. Very approachable and sweet and yet there's a certain elegance to it. Don't need very much. Quite satisfying with just a very small pour. Well-liked. (5 pennies)

Dalva GW Tasting: Amazing flavors of exotic fruit like peach and honey dew melon. Has a nice vanilla touch that suits the wine very well! Has an amazing balance despite the huge sweetness. Loved it!

Dalva White Vertical (P81): A multitude of flavors hit the palate with such an impressive and almost complex sweetness. Walnut, coffee, honey, flowers, orange peel, vanilla and caramelized sugar. Long and spicy aftertaste. What an impressive and complex wine.
