Fruit in the nose. Heavy on the minerality in the mouth + fruit. Lots of acidity, too much for drinking on its own but very nice with food. Very enjoyable budget Burgs.

Weekly tasting group #038; France: Rhône white and red. (@ BD): Fruit yoghurt in the bouquet, some cherries, earthy notes and minerals as well. On the palate cherries, raspberries, some minerals, a lot of acidity, bitterness and sticky tannin. Not an easy pleaser. Very basic, but still ok basic Burgundy.

Mt Tabor Fine Wines 2010 High End Red Burgundy (Mt. Tabor Fine Wines): Very nice floral nose. Fruit and a lot of minerality in the mouth. good bit of acidity, definitely needs food. Nice and somewhat interesting for 'budget Burgundy'.
