Nose: fruity, quite refined. Taste: some fruit and the usual good acidity of the Mosel-rielsing, but also an amazing minerality, which makes this riesling complex. I had no Saar riesling before, but I do understand now what is in the books about it. Not really much depth and after a while in the glass losing a bit balance. Nevertheless a classy Mosel riesling. At the third day clearly less good. 89.

Med. intensity lemon color; med(+) intensity still-developing aromas of petrol, lemon, white flowers. On the palate: dry, light-bodied, medium yet mouth-watering acidity with med(+) intensity flavors of mineral, citrus and grapefruit; med-length stony finish. Low alcohol (12%). Very good quality, mid-priced, built for food. Can drink now, but has potential for aging.

No formal notes. This bottle tasted even more mature, i.e. more flat than that of three weeks before. Not for further keeping to my opinion. (87-)88.

Nose: refined fruity and mineral. Taste: refined fruit, very refined acidity and great minerality. A bit more sweet than last time. 88-89.
