10 years after Riesling tasting - 2011 (Restaurant Waldhorn, Kirchheim, Germany): Glass: Sophienwald Universal Clear, medium golden color. Clean, medium intense, youthful-developing nose. Ripe mellow apple, herbaceous (nettles), grass, some floral notes. Dry, medium+ acidity, 13,5% abv well integrated. On the palate ripe, musty apple, herbaceous, spicy (some delicate botrytis?) and very mineral. Creamy, good tension and pressure. Long, lingering finish, very mineral. Starting to reach its full peak, but will continue to evolve for 5+ years. 91-92

The nose is a bit honey botrytis oriented. Apricot, peach. In the palate no really fresh. Few citrus. At his peak. Decanted for an hour. Later some exotic fruits as pineapple and mango. Reminds to Rhinehessen. At would not wait more than 2-3 years. But for 2011 good acidity structure. 90-91

A bit broad, at his peak. yellow ripe stone fruits. No chance against Hermannshöhle and Felseneck in this flight. 90

Good acidity structure, but not a balanced wine ... nice, but not more.
