Medium dark yellow - so dark I had a worry this was oxidized. Bouquet of lemon confit. Palate follows bouquet - this is intense, very ripe lemon curd with a streak of minerality adding complexity and a saline undertow. Really quite long.
This was surprisingly complete for a St. Aubin villages - not quite the same expansiveness of Henri Boillot's other bottlings but really quite a package. I enjoyed this over 2 nights under eto and feel it could still have done another 5 years or so. Chapeau M. Boillot.

Pale straw gold in color with medium viscosity the wine presents itself with a slightly reticent nose that opens up quite well in the glass. Tropical fruit , stewed pears and white lilies are framed by a hint of oak. Slightly buttery with fresh Lemony and mineral appeal are built on a acidic backbone which helps balance the wine nicely. The finish is muted but medium and dry. Not bad at all.

From a 375ml. This was a little advanced for its age, but certainly not pre-moxed. In fact, I think the maturity made this a quite enjoyable wine, certainly rounder with slightly matured flavours. A little buttery, sweetened pineapples, peach and matchstick. Decent structure on the palate as well, good acidity and overall balance. Great for a Sunday afternoon.
