Now mature. Trad kabinett = quite sweet. Very good balance with high acids pitted against ripe fruit and sweetness. Lemon, lime, melon, litchie, unripe pear. Some honey and just a hint of smoke. Perhaps lacking a bit of depth to the details. Very good lengh with the zippy acidity dominant on top lovely fruit. Lovely wine.

Nose > Key-lime, lemon-lime, tart yellow-peach, honeysuckle, quince, & granny smith apple. Musky/pungent/sweaty & slatey. Lavender, black-currant, wild red-cherry, & lime-flesh. Very fresh, flowery, & bursting from the glass.
Palate > Lime-flesh, tart peach/apricot, morello-cherry & cherry-stone. Crushed stone/lime-zest, lavender, kiwi, & starfruit. Big. Fairly powerful. Especially for a Kab. Tight, firm, & beautifully sappy. Very good, medium+ intensity. Excellent acidity. Very long finish with morello-cherry, lime-flesh, tart-peach, pink-grapefruit, & blood-orange. Good intensity on the aftertaste with stoney lime-flesh/zest. (92+) Impressive. Better, more intense than the Spatlese.

Fresh and clean. Still quite energetic with high acidity. No hurry. Very nice.

Tropical fruit (mango, passion fruit?), slight citrus, electric acidity. Really bright. Interesting. Really enjoyable. Light floral. Nice finish.

A weekend with friends in Germany Mosel area: Part 1: Flowers, grasses, pear, litchi, green apples. A bit sparkling still. Beautiful and fresh wine with apple acidity.
