The wine looks light blonde colored. The legs are rather fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon and apple. It tastes like lemon and pear. The body is light. The wine has silky texture. The wine finish is medium. The wine has rather high acidity, it is light, crisp and not unexpectedly citrusy. Expectations were higher for this wine and at its price point, the wine can easily be substituted by an Allbariño, so it doesn't add to my cellar. It is certainly a delightful wine, but further aging will do it no favours. I'm a little bit indifferent to this wine on the whole, Oysters and other ceviche shellfish is a good pairing. Not enough here to stand up to BYO Chinese. Recommended but not preferred.

Tasted against a 2012 1st cru Les Charmes by the same producer. They are very different wines. This wine was very light lemony in color. There was a mild bouquet. The flavor was dry with strong citrus overtones. There was minimal tannin. This tasted like the Meursaults that I am used to drinking. In contrast the Les Charmes had pronounced oaky overtones with cream notes. It was comparable to many of the Montrachets that I have tasted. I cannot say that one wine was better than the other -- though the prices differed considerably. They are very different, but both enjoyable, wines.

The color was a light gold. There was a definite floral bouquet. The flavor was amazing. There was a definite ovetone of melon and fruit but the wine was still dry with a touch of minerality. There was some oak but it was not prominent. This was one of the more interesting wines I have had recently.
