  It has a flower, strawberry and spice scent. TInitially, the palate is somewhat tart and bitter with cranberry and black tea flavor, but after breathing it settled down and integrated nicely.

  Consumed over 2 days, note from day 2. Nose: Medium expressiveness, cranberry, blueberry, black pepper, and hints of vanilla. Palate: Light to medium balanced, tart red fruit up front - cranberry & pomegranate, thins out noticeably thru the mid-palate where a white pepper component appears, decent acid. Finish: Short to medium length dominated by tart red fruit.

  The scent is spice, wood and floral. The palate is medium body with spice, blueberry, cranberry and black tea flavors. The finish has ample fine tannins. Overall, it is somewhat understated, particularly in the mid-palate.

  Intriguing spicy, fruit nose. Tastes like a cross between a pinot noir and a syrah, but lacking the ideal qualities of either grape. Notes of cranberry, strawberry jam, black pepper, cinnamon and cedar, cut off by a short, hot finish. Enjoyed it enough to finish the bottle while relaxing on a patio, but it's not something we would get again.
