What a hard day. Hard to get out of bed at the Lisboa which managed to do at 2pm, before checking into my suite which was finally read at the Grand Lisboa. Then a frantic day if buying Prada, Versace, Cavalli and owning had to almost beg (well I had to make a telephone call) to get the Micehlin Starred 'Kitchen' to stay open for me.
Now down to the wine. Just lovely. Contemplative and totally loving that forthright acidity taking control after that slightly dry and musky middle with hints of citrus. Just lovely as I gaze out the window.

Rich yellow apple and baked apple. Good weight for its level, but more advanced than I’d expect from 2010 1er from such a good producer. I’d drink this up in the next year if other bottles are consistent.

During a tasting. Medium-light yellow. Expressive nose of oak/toast, vanilla, white fruit with a bit of butter. Medium bodied, good palate presence paired with delicate acidity. Very nice Chard.

France 2012 - Côte d'Or; 7/16/2012-7/21/2012 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. From 375ml. Again, there is a noticeable amount of wood here but there are some leesy notes which add to the complexity along with the lemon and orchard fruit aromas. This is weightiest white yet with lots of minerality and crisp acidity giving lift and freshness to the mouthfeel. The finish is tart with lemon curd and green apple flavours. This is great today but give this 3-5 years to let the wood fully integrate and you will be rewarded. Excellent. 90+

Simple, tropical fruit and oak. Thin, somewhat short finish. Pleasant.
