  • Very good showing. Pours a lovely golden hue. Honeyed and typical aged marsanne qualities, a bit of almond and canteloupe perhaps? Lovely nose, and no sign of the typical marsanne bitterness. Delicious with smoked salmon.

Cork soaked about a third in, but came out easily. This wine is very much alive, and could probably go on for many years still.

  • Very fresh on opening - beautiful marsanne profile - but didn't survive a decant so well - much more into dried fruit spectrum then. Great to drink over next 2-3 years but PnP ***(*)

  • Very perfumed white Herm. Needed a bit of time to round out, but nice white flower and fruit flavors. 90 pts. 9/02
Wine has really aged and come around. A great round spicy concentrated white herm with depth and complexity. At front end of drinking window, but should hold for years and may still improve. 94 pts. 9/06
