An interesting contrast with 2011 Domaine Alain Chavy Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières drunk two days earlier (see note). Unsurprisingly that is the finer one, but more forward than this very well made village wine, which while won't beat it may curiously outlive it.

Bright and zingy with some good funk and earthy element on the nose. Palate was clean with citrus and mineral elements. Light on the oak.

Tasted at the Domaine. Clean, crisp with stones. Very bright.
