I think it would have been a 94 a couple of years ago. Top producer, feels like a richer style not so much in fashion at the moment, which may have contributed to it becoming less interesting now.
N: Honeyed, delicate orchard fruits, wet chalk bitter tone, white blossom, background of creamy old lemon curd.
P: Full and concentrated mouthfeel, expanding apple flesh and white peach fruit, turns tart and austere in structure, nice tension and grip. Med- acid complements with the grip.
F: Creeping rich high toast oak, orange blossom and pear drops

3 Very consistent bottles given the difficult task to accompany Indian food , luckily for them elegant Indian food at Tamarind, London. Well evolved and well assimilated oak, mineral and firm , round and drinks very nicely at this stage. Citrus touches. A very well made and not heavy on the oak Meursault. 91

Domaine Jean-Michel Gaunoux Visit with Vintage '59 (Meursault): Brief tasting, winery visit, from the Domaine's cellar. Floral aromas, round and supple palate with honey, lemon, and vibrant acidity. Nicely textured finish, this seems stylistically to be on the richer side. Drink through 2026. Typically 1 year in 20% new oak, followed by a few months in tank.

Color of pale honey. Citric, and a bit muted fresh off the refrigerator. Becomes more succulent, toasty, with air. Beautiful before it approaches room temperature. The right balance between a bit of fat, but with a core minerality. Not really complex, but quite satisfying. Went well with a pack of "Bugles Original Flavor" (really)!

Marcassin vs Aubert: Floral and vibrant with some cool-style fruit of pineapple and peach. Nice touch of minerality.
