Showing good evolution but not at all troubled by any concept of premox shenanigans . Frankly we should have decanted it as it did take some time to fully hit its stride but it’s a fine wine at this stage, soft and round but with a lot of presence, well assimilated oak, good secondary evolution and maybe a touch too evolved for the level of the vineyard. Better sooner than later 92-93

probably at the top of its' apogee for aging. plenty of body with a powerful nose. mellowed quite a bit toward the end of the bottle. a solid white burgundy.

Adrian visits Châteauneuf-du-Salil; 10/19/2018-10/20/2018 (Indianapolis): A touch more advanced than I'd like my 2011 white Burgs to be, but very enjoyable with plenty of rich white fruit, new oak, a touch of vanilla butter, and some chalky minerality. Has the richness and power I'd expect from a BBM, though the surprisingly deep colour and faint nuttiness on the nose are alarming.

Unfortunately I found this quite advanced for its age. I served this blind and the taster called 80s burgundy… oh dear.
In fairness, it was still a nice wine, but clearly far more developed in colour (deep amber) and nose/palate (nuts and honey)
