Burgundy lunch at San Shu Gong: Not a big fan of Potel's wines in general but this was a good showing. Cloudy appearance, some earth and Vosne characteristics on the nose and palate. Decent mature Burgundy that didn't have any fireworks but still was very pleasant, on the gentle downslope.

Dinner at Imperial Treasure. Light ruby, rusty colour, slightly cloudy. Already quite evolved, aged well beyond its 18 years. Light body. Red fruits but already fading. Probably quite graceful and elegant in its youth but now quite tired.
