  DAS ist ein grossartiger Barbaresco! Eine vollfruchtige, dichte und explosive Nase nach Weichsel, Himbeere, Veilchen, Rosenwasser, Marzipan. Am Gaumen druckvoll, mundfüllend, samtige Textur. Enormer Fruchtdruck. Ein Überwein in der Frucht, hat aber gleichzeitig eine tolle Balance und Eleganz. Ein wahrlich grosser Barbaresco in bestem Trinkfester!

  Rivetti Riserva: medium candied violet, a hint of toffee. Good balance, good length, good intensity, almost good complexity. A very good wine. This 2007 riserva is a typical Barbaresco with intense flora notes like lavender but with a more ripe character from the hotter vintage. The oak flavor is little new world, but with years, well integrated with the flavor of the grapes. A Well kept bottle and a surprise of the night. For the dired flora, integrated toffee, good intensity and well kept status/potential to age and typicity, goes to 90.
