  Light ruby, age appropriate bricking; aromatic, initially some heat though this disappeared with time, leaving behind cherries, red fruit, red roses, slight earthy and sous bois; light-medium bodied, medium-plus acidity, high alcohol and shows it a bit too much, red fruited; short finish. Overall this is decent Barbaresco, but a bit warm for 2008 and showing a bit simple and short for its price ($40). 87
