Past its prime. Oxidative nose, on the palate some cherry liqueur, drinkable but gets quite hot on the finish. Drink up or give away to people you don't really like.

A year and the right food has been good to this wine. Longer finish than the last visit. Very clear color, red fruits including raspberry and strawberry. Clean acidity with a long finish.
Food note: Great with chicken and veal dishes. Would stand up to light tomato sauce.

Light red color, raspberry on the nose. The wine has a forward note of pepper with a medium finish. Similar to a grenache. A longer finish would be nice since it seems to drop quickly. Would go well with roast chicken.

Jammy ripe dark berries on the nose. Full bodied, big lush mid-palate and fine tannins. Substantial underlying acidity. Slightly dry finish.
