Tasted at the shop. What an incredibly yummy nose! Quince paste, lychee and ripe mango. On the palate it just flows and caresses my mouth. Of the 60 or so wines I tasted this week this is by far the easiest one to drink. Just want to pour it down from the bottle like a thirst quencher.

Tasted at Aiolos Wine Fair. A very interesting version of an oaked chardonnay from Austria, aged for 6 months in new 300 lt. Austrian oak barrels and then another 6 months in exhausted Austrian oak 2500 lt. containers. The result is a subtle, sweet oakiness that adds complexity whle letting the fruit dominate. Med-full bodied with relatively high acidity and a long, spicy aftertaste.

Aiolos Tasting: (Aiolos tasting) This one has a more than apparent green character with some oak on the nose which I found rather strange. Luckily enough this does not carry in the mouth as well, which feels round and quite buttery. It has a strong but not overpowering acidity, ripe fruits and a medium to long aftertaste.
