  • Medium yellow with just a hint of amber. In the nose the signature oxidised ("sherry") notes of traditional Jura whites, nutty aromas with mostly walnuts but also some hazelnuts and almonds, yellow apples and a hint of honey, slightly flowery notes. Very nice nose if you like this style of wine. Medium bodied, yellow slightly "off" apples, some spice, rather high acidity, mineral, finishes with rather noticeable bitterness and mineral, rather long aftertaste. In the nose it could have been a vin jaune, but the palate does not quite have that level of body or complexity, and is a bit more bitter than I prefer.
