Nose of charcoal, pine needle, and road tar, this light/medium bodied wine has simple faint red cherry and earthy notes on a silky frame where the final impression shows lingering cherry that becomes slightly dry. This wine was better last year when more cherry fruit was prominent. Drink now. Stored in temp controlled cellar since purchase.

Essentially presents itself as a Nebbiolo table wine. Those looking for classic, long-lasting Nebbiolo will be let down, but on its own it's a pleasant enough everyday drinker. Typical tar and leather in the nose, but beyond that the typical Nebbiolo profile doesn't shine through. Surprisingly juicy fruit mates well with the moderate smoky tannins to make this a pleasant enough wine.

A wisp of a wine-all soil and licorice. Like a Bourgogne compared to a Premier Cru Burgundy, just a gentle shadow.
