Medium maize color. Ample nose, with sylvan aromas and crisply fruity Bosc pear notes. The palate is similarly rich, and full bodied. There’s tart gooseberry to start, with some Meyer Lemon emerging. This warms significantly through the midpalate, with ripe citrus fruits and a sweet, woody spiciness. Finishes with clean and long, with hallmark Chassagne-Montrachet minerality. This has entered drinking maturity and should maintain this plateau for another 3-5 years.

Mineral and precise to be sure but there's the honey that I like, too, and a modicum of chard richness, but all carried by that minerality. Long.
