Darker than the King Alexander, chocolate, quince, orange zest, cedar wood, nutmeg, fruit jam (tastes like it, too) on finish. Sharper (slightly higher alcohol) with superb balance and composure. Mouthwatering leaving one wanting for more. 95

A step up from the 12 & 15, but not head an shoulders above. Still delicious, figgy dark fruit, orange, brown sugar. Sherry cask finish central. Delicious.

43%. With Elmar and Darryl. Nice colour, a little lighter than the 15yo, but non-natural anyway. The whisky offered fresh lemon, a hint of orange, Earl Grey tea, pepper, sherry and malt as well as hints of leather and caramel on the nose. On the palate, the whisky was very peppery, with orange, chili and sherry flavours. It was creamy at the sides of the palate and left an oily impression after we swallowed it, with warming, well-integrated alcohol and very good length. We liked it. Body 4/10, Smoke 1/10, Sweetness 5/10.

Mín leiğ í gegnum Haugen smakkiğ (Gamla Bíó): 18 ára Dalmore var svo bragðað næst. Virkilega gott viskí. Má líka vera það fyrir 20k.
