Nose of garrigue, dusty minerality and aromas of dried cherry and strawberry with savory aromas of sagey herb dust and tomato leaf. Bright red fruit on the palate with still vibrant acid. Undertones of black walnut, dusty stone, dried mushroom, cherry tomato and a bit of red licorice. Reaching maturity.

Vineyard cellar reserve has new release. Well aged. Pleasant to drink from nose through mouth following the swallow. So glad it is in our cellar.

Bought at the winery, stored well and alas it's flawed. Ugh.

Wine Blogger's Conference 2012- Oregon Wines; 8/15/2012-8/18/2012 (Portland, OR): Notes of ashy earth, toffee, mushroom, herb and black cherry on the nose through the palate. Drinks with nicely opened fruit and subtle depth. Polished with fine tannin and a full finish.
