Very aggressive and pungent on the nose with earthy sulfur notes along with muted baked fruit and earth on the palate. Fine and smooth in feel. Medium finish. This is certainly an interesting wine as was the 09, and I could have missed something here in the short time I had with it, but it didn't work for me like the '09.
Tasted at 2012 Wine Blogger's Conference. Aromas of vanilla, butterscoth, fig and earth. Minerally palate with raspberry highlights and notes of cracked pepper. Floral and elegant. Fine and polished structure with lingering grip on the finish. Should continue to develop. Very nice.

The description is incorrect- the vineyard is not in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. Nose of dried flowers, spice and blue fruit. Nice jammy blue fruit with peppery depth and a medium finish. A nice weekday wine.
Ruby color with aromas of anise, earth, plum and cherry- dense and tightly wound. The palate adds mineral complexity and peppery herb to the range of notes, still dense and compact. Firm acid, fine and polished in tannin. Juicy medium+ finish. Needs time, but seems to be all there.
Dense ruby color. Red cherry, fig, mushroom and tree bark on the nose. Savory white pepper, earth, plum and cherry on the palate. Firm acid and rich fine tannin with a full finish. Beautifully complex, already open for business, and with the stuffing and depth for aging.

Aromas of cherry and licorice, hinting at earth and spice. Earthy dark fruit, full and nicely open with fine feel and round tannin. Finishes full with hints of anise. Very nice.

The description is incorrect- the vineyard is not in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. Nose of dried flowers, spice and blue fruit. Nice jammy blue fruit with peppery depth and a medium finish. A nice weekday wine.

Ruby color with aromas of anise, earth, plum and cherry- dense and tightly wound. The palate adds mineral complexity and peppery herb to the range of notes, still dense and compact. Firm acid, fine and polished in tannin. Juicy medium+ finish. Needs time, but seems to be all there.

Dense ruby color. Red cherry, fig, mushroom and tree bark on the nose. Savory white pepper, earth, plum and cherry on the palate. Firm acid and rich fine tannin with a full finish. Beautifully complex, already open for business, and with the stuffing and depth for aging.
