Drank over five days. Lots of Grenache character. An enigmatic wine that wafted between imparting an impression of tightly wound youth and being underwhelming. Well made. 89-91.

Much better than last time! This wine has definitively improved with another year of cellaring. Drank over two days. Dark liquerish fruits. Great grenache signs but still balanced and elegant. Not as raw and untamed as young grenache can be.

A bit dissapointing. Perhaps my expectations were to high. Good producer and great vintage. This should be great and I really looked forward to this bottle! I love La Brunote. The wine never really came through. In my opinion it was neither raw and unpolished or very complex (the two values of Cotes du Rhone/Grenache I appreciate. PnP Thursday. Had a glass on friday, and the rest on Saturday with Entrecote.

Dark and cool fruits, especially blackberry, with a hint of licorice. Very delicate, but juicy. Not overly complex. Soft and smooth mouth feel. There's some warmth here. Rounded and pleasant tannins in the finish. Fairly long.

Very impressive. Big, complex, sturdy, very well-made, perfect for more flavorable dishes; held up very well with little change in wine cooler for four days. Strongly recommended. If you like big, sturdy, but still well-balanced Rhônes, this should please. Recommended.
