Tasted alongside the 2009, blind. The nose on this wine was more complex at the outset: dark cherry, light leather. However, a bit of VA was there too. The palate was bright and less ripe that the 2008, and this was the better wine. Nice fruit, no sign of fading. Sad that this winery is gone...they made great wine.

This is in a great spot right now. It's such a shame that they're not making wine anymore - this was downright gorgeous, with great fruit and nice structure. A true pleasure to drink.

A nice Walla Walla Cab. A little on the softer side and not super compelling. I'd advise drinking sooner than later.

Giving this an 85 instead of lower because others at the table enjoyed it. All i tasted was prune.

Slo-ox for 5 hours then double decanted about 1.5 hours.
This is a winner in every category and sang for us. Classic Cab features with perfect balance and unobtrusive wood treatment.
Only lament is a lack of distinctiveness.
Has plenty of life left. Drink now or hold.
