  This wine starts bashful with a big, lush, pepper packed palate before softening with air (more bottle aging will help too) and showing a barrel, vanilla sweetened finish. Maybe over the top for some but if you are looking for a big, rich value play this one is for you. Reminds me I need to check on the ’07 and ’08 vintages I have in the cellar to see how they are holding up. Starting to see a mini-vertical tasting on my horizon…
