Opaque color with a thin lighter edge. One of the darker, richer, fruitier, more structured, and delicious Barberas from Piedmont in Italy, that rises way above the relatively low esteem of Barbera in Piedmont compared to Nebbiolo. Highly enjoyable young but has gotten even better at 8 years old.
