  Surprised that there is that much oak left in it. Probably near the apex?? Good tertiary development and reasonably well balanced. Good fruit, currants, black cherry. Tons of coconut, hence the oak content. Tannins are fine but firm. Acid is definitely present. Medium long finish. Last bottle of 6 from the winery visit in 2014.

  Has definitely aged and the fruit mellowed since my last bottle in 2014. More refined now. I would drink up soon as not really gaining complexity while fruit is starting to fade. Still a nice package but for how long?

  Lots of fruit on the nose, plum, cherry and leather with a bit of funk as well. Almost opaque nearing on purple. Tannins are fine but definitely present. Cherry is the dominant fruit with some blueberry and tobacco. There is some underlying vanilla as well. Drinking very well.

  Scores high if you like a big, velvety Cali cab. Still young and need air or time I feel to completely take off the rough edges and integrate. Notes of blueberry on the expressive nose and on the palate. Rich oak treatment.
