60 min decant...deep yet translucent ruby/violet hue...incredible nose is initially dusty wood and wet stones with a hypnotic undercurrent of elegant fruit finishing with floral and musk notes...succulent yet light charred black fruits show freshness and restraint...well-balanced minerality and acidity...although quite young, the tannins are soft, supple and rounded with a med/long mouth watering chewy finish...simply a GREAT wine and even better QPR...partial to a very well made cabernet franc...drink half over next few years and let balance age 5 - 10+ years (if you can)

Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity and some noticeable tannins. The tannins are on the coarse side right now, but there are silky tones of red currants, red cherries, herbs, and some rose petals.
Overall: This is a real pretty cab franc. It's certainly young, but it has some really nice aromatics already.

2013 Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri tour (Union Station, Chicago, IL): Nose: Well balanced and very fragrant nose filled with tones of red currants, red florals, spice tones, herbs, and red cherries. There is some nice depth and layering to this on the nose already.
