Doing Pinot Noirs Blind, Covid-Style, in Seattle (Seattle, WA): Tasted blind. Gorgeous nose, with an interesting cumin(?)-like note in there. Exceedingly delicate, but nicely concentrated wine. Pretty, dark cherry but bright and energetic. Long finish. I guessed OR. Very good.

Drank reasonably well, several bottles opened and it held its own compared to several other wines available at the same time. Don't recall exact details.

Medium garnet color. After 30 minutes, lovely nose of candied cherry, slightly richer than usual, against Jory and slate. Nice full mouthfeel, more candied berry, layers of cedar and cola candy. Finish is a bit thinner than I'd like, no berry or bouquet carries into midpalate and finish, leaving some tang and alcohol. But the nose and initial alone is good enough to rate high. I think not Burgundian enough for salmon, try truffled risotto instead.

Sharp cherry candy and nicely complicating funk are foiled in middle where venom and mossy log feel disconnected and vaporizing.

Nose: cherries and oak
Taste: light cherries and short on the finish. A good Tuesday night wine.
