  Questo Gattinara “base” si conferma un buon Nebbiolo, ma soprattutto sorprende come sa reggere il tempo che passa con estrema classe.
  Questo 1998 è ancora eccellente, anzi il tempo l'ha reso decisamente il migliore tra i vini di Travaglini che ho assaggiato sino ad ora (migliore anche di riserve dai costi più elevati).
  Profumi integri e ancora freschi, bocca equilibrata ed intensa di tabacco e spezie, finale lungo ed armonico. Un ottimo vino che è ora al top della forma.
