Very nice indeed for an almost 10 year-old Aussie riesling. Color remains pale yellow. Nose is all about the petrol with a hint of citrus. On the palate, lean citrus fruit at the fore with wet stone and a hint of spice. Bracing acidity finishes off this still crisp wine. Very nice and still fresh.

There's a whiff of sulphur. And then there's full-on matchstick. Even after extensive aeration. It's hard to imagine that level of sulphur ever integrating, but it seems much younger than the vintage would indicate, so maybe... Still, not that pleasureable for current drinking. Fair+.

This is good. Aged riesling nose: waxy, floral, lemon zest, some shoe polish. On palate it was fresh, lemon, good oily mouthfeel. However finish was short and didn't refresh as well as front palate might suggest. A tiny hint of residual sugar (in a good way). Some complexity (prior to finish). Others liked. This won't improve but no rush to drink up either.

Surprisingly fresh for a 2005 Aussie riesling. Still a pale straw in color. Nose shows lime, slate and a wet concrete typical for the varietal. On the palate, crisp citrus with juicy acidity and an underlying bitter almond. Finishes crisp, not flabby in any way. Very nice surprise.

A ripe full-flavored wine but dry with excellent acidity.Lemon and minerals, and something more tropical. Not much change from 1/10.
