PnP, chilled. L tasted it blind and thought it was an unoaked Chardonnay! A very austere, bone-dry profile for a Riesling. The medium bodied palate was vibrant with lots of lemon, some lime and green apple, and quite racy acidity. Should hold for several years.

This is bone-dry Riesling with a sophisticated aroma profile. It’s hard to enjoy without food, but there is no denying its impact. For me, it’s just too acidic. You won’t see me say that often about a wine.

Guess I'm the odd man out here with my higher score - don't really understand the lower scores here on CT. Elsewhere this wine hits 93-94pts. Yes, it's verging on austere, but that's my jam. A muted nose, no petrol, faint whiffs of green apple and pear. On palate the same thing, just slightly held back somehow, which makes it feel interesting and keep you digging. When I grew up there was this pear-flavored popsicle that was a staple, and this reminded me of that in flavor, but veiled. Bracing acidity at end, straight up citrus fruits. Bone-dry. Not as dry as a Polish Hill, but almost. My guess 1.5-2.0g/l RS. Great stuff.

Very nice, super crisp, lime juice. On the nose, I think part of the characteristic profile is heavy fusel maybe isoamyl caprylate.

Pale straw in colour. Nothing overly agressive or surprising with this wine. Apple and white fleshed fruit without the petro-hints. Crisp and clean.
