Ripe fruit with somewhat grapey fruit on the palate still. There is a good amount of warmth in the back of the throat throwing this off. Somewhat Rhone like in flavor with mouth coating, fine tannin. Lacking some acidity. This really hasn't come together and might be going backwards. I'm thinking it was more modern styled in it's youth than my experienced allowed me to know. Not very interesting and not all that enjoyable if not horrible.

Alcohol predominant on the nose, silghtly dusky on first taste and rather mouth drying tannins. Surprisingly little fruit coming through. Tastes thin and austere, although somewhat smokey.

Seemed a bit tight with the entry and finish not being up to snuff. Good depth of fruit without fleshiness and still fairly tannic. Recommend a decant before serving.

nose: almost chateauneuf-like with red fruits, smokey tones, red currants, spice, and cassis tones
taste: medium/light bodied with red fruits, black spices, red currants, and some bits of black fruits
overall: this is very different from any tempranillo that I've had before. It tastes and smells more like a young chateauneuf. Smooth attack of red fruits that goes into a black spice finish

Had to have been a bad bottle, strong smell of olives, somewhat flat and thin tasting.
