Aromas of apple cider. Upon opening, there was a Bazooka bubble gum middle that was delightful and fun as my childhood memories of joy had been awakened. This characteristic rotated more the the front of the finish and became more subtle with more time in the glass. Round, creamy and delicious, with still perky acids makes this wine one that makes you wish you had more to enjoy.

Last bottle, but happily much better than the previous one I opened. Rich and creamy texture, with excellent balance, toasty oak that was deftly handled, full-bodied. Always will be my favorite affordable Cali chard. I love Ed Sbragia's wines across the board.

Unlike the last time when I had to wait 24 hours for this to settle down, no problems this time when the bottle was opened. Big, rich, flavorful, complex, and very Californiaesce in style. Probably one of the top Chardonnays that I have enjoyed in 2015. For the big California Chardonnay aficionados, this should be right up you alley.

This is why Sbragia Gamble Ranch, which has been consistent across vintages, is my favorite Cali chardonnay: Buttery, rich and creamy texture and excellent balance, toasty oak that was deftly handled, full-bodied. I've had three bottles of 2010 over the past couple years, and see no deterioration as it continues along on a plateau of full maturity. Three more to go
