Wonderful chateauneuf with plenty of fruit and character. Still young. Great legs. Nose is of concentrated fruit, earth, traces of gasoline fumes, almost port wine-like, very fruity and velvety. Medium mouthfeel and medium acidity, again with a lot of concentrated fruit. One of the more fruit-forward CdP's we've had recently. Complexity on the finish improved on day 2 and 3 (did not fall apart or overly oxidize). Still seems young in that sense. Probably could use a 2-3 hour decant. A very enjoyable wine that went well with filet mignon and then with a spaghetti bolognese. Tasty. Will repeat.

Probably on a slow descent. Some nice raspberry fruit and savoury notes, but the palate is firm without being especially interesting.

Dark fruit and leather on the nose. Rather forceful. Maybe more structure than fruit which is unusual in CNdP but impressive nonetheless.
