Beautiful deep golden color Expressive nose with pears, apricots, honey, some nuttiness, and a hint of floral. Rich fruity flavor with some minerality. Very well balanced, nice structure, and a long smooth finish. Given past reviews, we were extremely happy with this bottle. Maybe it pays to store at 54 degrees, purchased from the winery and never moved. Yum.

Gold in color. 14.5% ABV. Super nose of pears, smoke, lemon oil and butterscotch. Full bodied with medium acidity. Rich, oily and smoky. Poached pears, creme brulee and minerals on the palate. The finish is long and spicy. Really good wine but lacking those tropical fruit notes I find so appealing in the Rochioli Chardonnay program. Best over the next 1-2 years.

PnP. Medium gold. Rather mute on the nose. Good viscosity and still some phenolic intensity on the rather long finish. Quite ripe and mature but not by any means dead. Drink up. This bottle seems to show better than what others have experienced. Cellared at 58 degrees since release direct from the winery.

2011 J. Rochioli Single Vineyard Chardonnays; 8/4/2018-8/6/2018 (Home, Greensboro, NC): Brass colored. Aromas of burnt caramel and butterscotch. Oxidized. Lots of bitterness and exhausted fruit on the palate. Far past prime. Not really drinkable. Sourced from the winery.
