COLOR: Light, brilliant yellow NOTE: Fairly innocuous nose, mostly citrus rind. However, there is amazing opulence in the mouth at this price point ($20). Taut and vibrant, but opulent. It's the best of both worlds. Finish is crisp and clean. The alcohol is still fairly high at 14.6% (I think), but this carries itself very lightly in the finish. No heat anywhere. It's a largely unoaked Chard (I think only 15% sees oak). I recommend cooking with this wine and drinking the rest of the bottle. It was great with Stacy's roasted potato & leek soup, and I imagine her lemon risotto will shine with this as well.
COLOR: Medium golden NOTE: Pacific Grove Trip - Limited Notes --- had this twice on the trip, once by itself and once with appetizers. Was great for the price. Nose was nice pear and pineapple, ripe, and the mouth was just a hint sweet with some nice opulence and a clean finish.

solid chard for $15. mild oak has left a nice buttery component.

This was kind of meh. Bit sweet and had a texture that seemed a bit syrupy. Not much acidity to find either.
