P: MF body; Rnd entry with almost swtish attack which fairly quickly becomes a lingering, OAKY finish. While acidity is adequate, I'm basing my "like" upon what I'm guessing was its prime, 18-30 mos ago.

Lighter straw color. On the nose - mineral, citrus and light floral notes. Palate is a bit more Sauvignon Blanc, citrus, crisp and then rounded on the finish with a slight zing. Enjoyable, but at $25.00 in our region, not a repeat buy.

Wine Club #5 - California Chardonnay (Christina's Pad): My runner up for the evening and the best QPR of the bunch. More tropical than the preceding three, retaining great acidity. "Like a Sauvignon Blanc, almost, which is why I like it." -Jeff. Wonderful use of oak. I would love to have a Talbott Chardonnay line tasting to see if I prefer the Logan or Single Vineyard work they do, but this one is such an easy recommend to any customer that always gets raves. Citrus on the nose with butter and balanced oak. Fairly acidic and good for a Chardonnay, but one that I'd need to be in the mood for.
