  Between 89 & 90. Definitely a quality wine. Not the greatest vintage. A bit of a hole in the palate. Maybe a bit of cranberry & cherry. Decent finish. No depth in the mid-palate. Very pleasant nose, though a bit off the classic RRV (which this is not).

  Elegant, soft , supple Pinot fruit with good forest floor and excellent acid. Last bottle. I wish I had more as it should continue to age well.

  Aromas to fill the room. Bold concentrated cherries, excellent structure, earthy, elegant. Bouquet was like a floral arrangement. Tannins silky, soft and balanced.

  From magnum. Right up my alley here. Very elegant for a Merry Edwards Pinot. Beautiful fruit coming right through, with light tannins. I think it drank perfectly tonight. Some earthy notes, forest floor, but this was really all about elegant fruit. For a 2011, it was especially bright. Absolutely perfectly in balance.Wish I had more, this was a spectacular bottle.
