Leitz tasting (NU Bistro, Budapest): Cool, fresh, grapey. Grüner Veltliner spice, some Botrytis. So vibrant, tastes electric - razor sharp, but integrated acidity. Incredibly zingy, amazing wine.

Lunch by Enrico & Roberto Cerea ***, Patrick Kimpel * & Sebastian Lühr (Rheingau Gourmet & Wine Festival Hattenheim, Germany): The result of a failed attempt to produce an Eiswein - there was no frost. Harvested on 6 February 2011. But still an amazing Auslese; no noble rot, Eiswein aromatics, incredibly concentrated, sweet and fresh, excellent energy and acidity, but not the ultimate cut and precision that the actual Eiswein would have had.
