Very good, though probably doesn't quite hit great. The nose is lovely with high toned ripe red berries, very floral, spicy, and just a hint of stony earth. The palate is quite tasty with good concentration and depth, good balance, and a nice spicy finish. Very enjoyable, maybe not quite what I'd hope for from a 1er cru as good as Les Cras and a producer as good as Meo, but still a good effort in 2011.

Nose of sweet cherry and ripe strawberry; pleasant, very light, fairly long finish, not much complexity; enjoyable but in no way intriguing After Half Hour: Nose still of cherry and strawberry but more substantial; notes of raspberry and sous bois emerging; palate has somewhat more structure and depth but still relatively simple

France 2013 - Côte d'Or; 4/20/2013-4/23/2013 (Beaune): Tasted at the Domaine. From half bottle. Typically Chambolle nose, but more to it with floral and riper raspberry notes. Well balanced with good acidity and nice precision on palate. Elegant with excellent length. Very fresh. Should be great in 7-10+ years. 91-94pt potential. Excellent. 90+
