  • CNY dinner. Ex domaine, en magnum. I opened this a day in advance. Lovely bright red, clear and pure. Nose had lots of wild strawberries, cherries and cranberries, definitely too young but I needed (1) a magnum and (2) something fresh, ripe and vibrant for the Chinese meal. Very impressive structure for a village, lots of red and blue fruits, but a clear note of meat and earth. Very defined and lovely acidity, making the wine immensely fresh, and full of lovely fruits. Very good balance. I'm drinking this 15 years early, but this is a wine well worth seeking out. Yet another brilliant 2011, drinking within 1er quality.
