Not sure I'd have gotten Monbazillac in a blind as there's really only a suggestion of it - the wine being so light and easy to drink, the finish medium at best, with no real calling as to place. But, this is clean, and in an odd way refreshing too. When you're in the mood for something that's simple, but structured and clean, without heavy alcohol or overt sweetness. 12,0% abv (IIRC) and something I'd gladly enjoy again if offered a glass. For under $20, recommended

good honeysuckle, pear, lychee; enough acidity and smoke/depth to counteract the moderate sweetness; no marmalade in this one; viscous mouthfeel with plenty of primary baby fat

From 500 ml - light golden yellow color; appealing, lifted, botrytis, baked apricot, apricot cling syrup nose; rich, concentrated, viscous, baked apricot, botrytis palate that could use more acidity; long finish (Semillon Blanc & Muscadelle; 12% alcohol)
