I've had better bottles. From a 375 this was showing its age. It was tasty...sweet apricot, toffee and caramel notes. But it's dropped it's acid, or didn't have enough (04?). It's still good, but it's rich and doesn't really have another gear.

Half bottle. Ripe nose without any botrytis. Typical light weight. Interesting counterpoint of off dry pineapple attack and very brisk white grapefruit and slate on the finish with a little vanilla cream sprinkled in between. Not yet fully integrated, nor much sign of secondary development. High acid wine which should have a long life and (hopefully) improve over time.

Same notes as seven years ago: Perfumed and floral. Light bodied, but intense and concentrated. Maybe a bit rounder and fuller than the previous one.

A fabulous Auslese with controlled sweetness, excellent depth & balance. Captivating and really nice with Tom Yum soup.

Fragrant nose and open palate of sweet peach and apricot with mineral notes on the long finish. Opened due to a leaky cork.
